The Sandra F. Pritchard Mather Planetarium at West Chester University holds evening shows for the general public. The live monthly presentations are hosted by a PhD astronomer and consist of an overview of what is visible in the current night sky. In addition, each show focuses on a particular aspect of astronomy. Pre-recorded movie shows are offered as well. The movie shows, presented by WCU students, offer a shorter tour of the night sky followed by a full-dome movie.
All shows start promptly at 7 p.m. and run approximately one hour.
Admission is $6.00 per person and must be purchased in advance. Children under the age of 5 may set on a parent's lap free of charge. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time by going online at www.wcupatix.com. Tickets go on sale 8am on the Friday and sell out very quickly.
The planetarium is wheelchair accessible.
